Coffee Addict? DIY Coffee Creamer…You’re Welcome

Hi Friends!! Happy Friday!!

It’s just been one of those weeks, kids where home Monday which threw my week off and then unbirthdays and volunteering to attend to.

Needless to say I’ve had to rewash the laundry in the washer like 3 times already. #MomBrain

But today I wanted to share with you a beautiful little recipe that I got from a friend.

Recently, I’ve become addicted to cold brew coffee. If you haven’t tried it, go to you local Sprouts Farmers Market and fight off the next person that is trying to take the Chameleon Cold-Brew. It’s on sale right now for $4.99 (normally $9.99).

Cold Brew coffee is supposed to be better for you due to lower acid in it and have more caffeine than normal brewed coffee. Plus, I’m a sucker for iced coffee. Too hot here in Arizona for anything else.

Anyway, my beautiful friend Kari shared with me how she makes her own coffee creamer to go along with this delicious coffee.

PS: If you live in the Phoenix area, you MUST go look for Danzeisen Dairy. It’s the bomb dot com. Literally.

First, you’re going to need yourself a container with a lid. Any container will do as long as it’s air tight and doesn’t leak.

These Danzeisen Dairy bottles are my favorites!

I’ve been hoarding them.

It’s a local dairy farm here in Arizona and it’s amazing! Best milk, hands down.

Plus, they have lots of different flavors including orange and mocha coffee!

And my absolute favorite part…they come in glass bottles!

Next, you will need these three ingredients.

Half & Half

Brown Sugar

I went organic, but you don’t have too.

For 1pt of half and half I use about a 1/2 cup of organic brown sugar. I haven’t made more than a pint at a time, so I’m not sure how much I would be using for more. You can play around with it to see what you like best. After all…this is your coffee creamer.

For the vanilla…I just add according to the taste I’m going for.

And sometimes, I’ll add some cinnamon to it as well.

There you have it!

Super easy to make and probably healthier than what you get in the store. I haven’t done the math on it all yet so don’t quote me!

And you can make it according to how you want it to taste. Cuz sometimes…store bought is just too much or not enough. I’m sure you can agree with me on that one.

And here is the coffee I’m talking about…

It comes in quite a few different flavors and you can find it at Sprouts or Target.

I hope you all are having a fabulous Friyay!

And if you have any coffee creamer recipes you’d like to share with me, leave me a comment below!

I love hearing from all my readers 🙂
