5 Minute Healthy Frozen Strawberry Yogurt – Easy Peasy

4 ingredients. 5 Minutes. Add in a homemade waffle cone and all your local ice cream shops should start closing down shop, because there is a new dairy Queen in town. She’s mean. She’s lean. And she doesn’t need an ice cream machine!

Say whaa!!

That’s right! Homemade, healthy frozen strawberry yogurt.

All you need is 5 minutes and your food processor and you have yourself a yummy, cold, delicious treat on those hot summer days that are looming right around the corner.

This dessert makes about 4 servings and takes about 5 minutes to make.


Ingredients:

  • 4 cups frozen strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons agave nectar or honey
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (non-fat or full fat) 
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Directions:

  • Add the strawberries, agave nectar (or honey) to your food processor and blend till it’s creamy. Should be right about 5 minutes or so.
  • Serve immediately or store in an air tight container in your freezer. It will stay for about a month 🙂

Note: I used greek yogurt but it’s up to you which kind you would like.
Also, you can use fresh strawberries as long as they have been frozen solid.
And one more thing, if you like a sweeter frozen yogurt, you can add more agave nectar or honey 🙂
